It was Frankie.

She had her hood up over her head, like she was hiding from someone. But her beautiful hazel eyes were peeping out from under the sweatshirt. There was silence in their depths. I wanted them to be screaming, to tell me what she was doing at my apartment, because she wasn’t talking.
I stepped back from the door and, after a beat, she brushed past me. She stopped in the foyer, her back to me, as she stood there looking around the bare space. My skin tingled with the need to touch her, but I was afraid. Afraid she’d run away again. Afraid she’d take my heart with her.
She turned around and faced me when I stepped up close behind her. She looked broken but beautiful, her eyes sad, her skin dewy with sweat. The world around me disappeared. The only thing I could focus on was her.
“I can’t do it anymore.” Her voice was so quiet, so full of pain, it made my throat constrict.
“Do what?” I choked out.
“Deny myself what I want.” She looked up and searched my eyes, and my heart hammered in my chest. “I won’t let Marco control my happiness anymore.”
“Frankie.” Lifting a hand to her cheek, I placed the other on her hip. She slid her hands to my chest, then tipped her face up as I bent my head to hers. When our lips met, there was no sensual dance like we’d shared in the past. Just soft lips, moving together as one. I felt her everywhere. Her hands on my chest, her scent in my nose, the soft sounds escaping her throat as the kiss deepened, and the taste of her tongue on my own.
It could have been hours, that kiss. It could have been days, and I would have been happy to do it for years. But she stopped abruptly, pulling away.
“What’s wrong?”
“I’m scared.” Her voice trembled out on a quiet breath. “I’ve never done this before. I’ve never done relationships.”
“Trust me.” I ran my thumb across her lips and planted a gentle kiss at the corner of her mouth.
“I’ve never done trust.”
“I won’t let you fall, Frankie. I’ll take care of you. Just give me a chance.”

This book was so much. Natasha Madison has written an amazing story. I loved getting lost in her words. I loved getting lost in this story. I loved getting to know two amazing characters. This book is full of heartbreak, drama, and love. These two amazing characters had it all at one time, but it all came to a crashing end. Kallie and Jacob were amazing. There were times I wanted to scream at this story, but things happen the way they do for a reason. This book kept me wanting more.

I loved everything about this story. Natasha did an amazing job keeping me wanting more from this amazing book. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next.

The ink was barely dry on the pages. I don’t know if I was ready for this. Somehow I felt like I was more of a virgin than Grayson. Nervous, skittish. He’d warned me when all of this began that the things he’d seen and done would wreck me.
I should’ve believed him then.
When I didn’t do anything for a minute, he arched a brow.
Do whatever he says.
I could use my safe word, but a twisted part of me liked doing what he told me to do. Liked the rush and the way his eyes hardened. It felt like power, power over one of the most powerful people in the world.
I’d barely taken a step to him, when he ripped me to him by the small of my waist. His other hand tangled in my hair, yanking my head to the side.
“Fuck,” he said, lips at my neck. “Which part do I eat first.”
Delicious tingles spread along my skin at his words. His nose ran along my neck, goosebumps following in his wake. His hands slid from hair, from my waist, along my body, feeling every inch of me, like he couldn’t do it fast enough, before settling back in my hair.
Deliriously, I found the zipper of my dress, but his overtook mine. Stopping me.
“I’m going to ruin your white dress, Snitch. Ruin you. Until you’re all fucked up from me.”

Time to gear up and taste tequila for the first time. The room is quiet as he stands. His eyes are fastened on me while he slowly unscrews the orange cap and holds the bottle out to me. I’ll be damned if I let him win this … game? Whatever it is. Nausea cartwheels in my stomach, and I haven’t even taken a drink. Lord knows how it’ll feel after I do. I inhale a deep, determined breath. I got this. I’ve never drunk tequila, but I’ve had wine. It can’t be that different, right? Right before I do anything drastic, my back stiffens, and I frown at the same time. “How many people have taken a drink from this bottle?” I question. “I’m not about to contract some STD.” He chuckles, signaling to the bottle. “The only person who’s drunk from that bottle is me.” He pauses, snaps his fingers, and points at me. “And you, in a minute.” I narrow my eyes at him. “You better not be lying.” His hands go to his chest, feigning offense. “Lina, my sweet Lina, I’m heartbroken you don’t trust me.” I gulp again. Here goes nothing. I can do this. Before I chicken out, I take a quick swig of the tequila. My eyes slam shut, blocking me from witnessing his reaction, and my teeth clench as I swallow down the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted. There’s no stopping my body from shuddering. I hold in a deep breath out of fear of puking it up. When I open my eyes, I immediately roll them. A huge grin is spread across Rex’s shocked face. He whistles and leans back on his heels. “Damn, Lina. Either you have a secret wild side, which I’d fucking love, or I’m bringing it out of you, which I’d also fucking love.” I shrug. “You’ll never know.” I inhale a deep breath, dragging up as much nerve as I can, and take another sip to prove myself. My throat burns as if it were on fire, and I smile with pride as soon as I swallow it down. “It’s your turn, Needle Dick.” I extend the bottle back to him. “Look at me, corrupting you.” He grabs it, cheers me, and takes a gulp. “I can’t wait to do it more.” Little do I know, walking into Rex’s bedroom will change everything. Rex Lane will take over my life. He’ll steal my heart. I’ll steal his. Only we won’t know what to do with what we’ve taken.
