5 STAR Review
I must admit, the blurb made me want to read this book. Do not throw stones, but I have not had the pleasure to read Gina Azzi previously. With that said, I fell in love from the very start of this book.
Harlow and Connor couldn’t be more different. They come from different world. They had very different upbringings. That doesn’t mean that these two weren’t meant to be. The chemistry was hot between these two. But their past kept them from being together.
This book was heartbreaking. It was about learning to overcome. Harlow’s been hurt by Connor in the past. It’s hard to let your guard down and learn to love again. The question is can she open her heart to love again.
Remember when I said I’ve never read Gina Azzi before, well I can say I have now. And she has a new fan. I loved every moment of this book and can’t wait to read more from Gina!

Charismatic. Confident. Powerful. Controlling.

I cross the patio, clearing the south side of the building. To my left, I now have a straight-on view of the SeaSide Inn, the small hotel on the other side of PCH that has been a fixture of Laguna Cortez for as long as I can remember.
At one point, my uncle actually owned it, along with a few others around town. I even helped decorate the office, in so much as going to Home Depot and looking at paint chips counts as helping. Or decorating.
I turn the other direction so that I’m facing the ocean. The tidal pools are only a short walk away, and I take a step that direction, then stop. The tidal pools had been our place, mine and Alex’s, and I’d cherished that time among the clusters of porous gray rocks that rose out of the long, empty stretches of sand. It was the place he’d first kissed me. A place I always felt safe.
More, it’s a place I haven’t been back to since he left.
I’m not sure if it’s in defiance of or protection for those memories, but I can’t bring myself to go back now. Instead, I turn once again toward the highway and start walking forward, the south wall of the foundation on my left.
From this perspective, I can see the fourth floor balcony, and I know from the article I read about the building’s architecture that I’m looking at Saint’s private office. Not that I can see much. From where I’m standing, my view is of the underside, a hint of the balcony’s glass barrier, and only the tiniest glimpse of the glass door leading inside. Even so, I pause for a moment, imagining that Saint’s standing at his window, and that he’s watching me, too.
I frown, wondering what came up that forced him to postpone our interview. Did he leave town? Or is he right now in his office? Hell, maybe he really is at his window looking down at me.
There’s no reason he would be, of course, and so I continue walking the length of the building so I can circle around and get back to Shelby.
But with each step, that tingling sensation becomes stronger, the uncanny sensation of being watched. It’s not something I can ignore. Hell, I was raised by a cop and was on the job for two years myself before going back to school.
Mid-stride and without warning, I turn and look behind me. At the ocean. The path to the tidal pool. And the balcony off of Devlin Saint’s office.
That’s where he’s standing.
A man lost in the shadows cast by the building that shelters him.
It has to be Saint.
And he’s watching me.

5 STAR Review
Thank you, J. Kenner. I was in a rut when it came to books, but you brought me right out of that with Devlin Saint. I’ve missed a powerful book alpha that made me want so much more. This book was exactly what I’ve come to love from Ms. Kenner and so much more.
Ellie has experienced loss and pain. Enough to last her a lifetime. Ellie’s past has made her who she is today. She’s tough, fierce, and she has walls up. I loved getting to know more about Devlin. As the story evolves you learn more and more about why he is how he is. And all Ellie wants is to be there for him. Devlin doesn’t want that, but Ellie is determined.
I loved getting lost in this book. I loved being on the edge and not knowing what was coming next. I loved watching these two fall and become exactly what the other needed. I love J. Kenner and all her books. I’ve been missing her stories like this.

I’ve been checked hard into the boards, right off my skates, and I’m not only spinning out of control…
I might just be falling in love all over again.
Hard Checked, an all-new beautifully written, second-chance-at-love sports romance that will bring all the heat and feels from Stacey Lynn is available now!

Getting served divorce papers was not how I planned spending New Years Day.
I probably shouldn’t have gone to my favorite bar and gotten wasted trying to drown my sorrows.
I definitely shouldn’t have spent the night passed out in the bed of the bartender’s daughter, Gigi.
And the absolute last thing I should have done was let my guard down and start having fun. Now I’m thinking of her all the time… fantasizing about the things I want to do to Gigi.
I’m in the middle of the best hockey season of my life. I need my head in the game and my focus on the playoffs – not playing house with the gorgeous bartender who makes me feel more alive than I have in years.
Finding someone new so soon after a failed marriage isn’t the smartest thing I’ve ever done.
But it just might be too late. I’ve been checked hard into the boards, right off my skates, and I’m not only spinning out of control…
I might just be falling in love all over again.

Excerpt:
Another set of drinks arrive at our table, served by a pair of small hands, with a tiny little broken heart tattoo on a ring finger and dark purple nail polish.
“Thanks, Gigi,” I say, lifting my head and grinning at her.
She smirks at me. “No problem, hotshot. Dad wanted me to give you these but says it’s last call.”
“Damn,” Jason groans. “I didn’t realize it was so late.”
“You can take off. I’m good.”
“You sure?”
“Yeah.”
He turns to Gigi who’s taken our empties and is starting to walk away.
I try. I try really hard to not let my gaze drop to her short, cut-off sweat shorts, to the length of her legs beneath them. The shape of her calves or to notice the dark red polish on her toenails.
I fail.
Miserably.
There’s something so damn attractive about her petite size.
I grip my new beer bottle harder and take a healthy swig.
“Hey Gigi,” Jason calls out. “Keep this loser company for me so he doesn’t get shit-faced before practice tomorrow?”
“Me?” She’s turned, gaze bouncing from me to Jason and she frowns. “You need my help?”
“No—”
“Yes—” Jason says at the exact time I disagree.
She smirks at Jason. “Seems to me he doesn’t need it.”
“Sometimes this asshole doesn’t know what he needs.” He slaps the table and slides out, holding out his arm in a gesture for Gigi to take his spot.
“Jason—”
He shrugs and holds out his fist. “I’ll pay the tab. You get home safely, yeah?”
“Yeah,” I grumble and return his fist pump.
“And you’ll thank me for this someday, too.”
I watch him go, frowning.
What the fuck does that mean?
“I can pretend to sit here until he leaves if you want to be alone.”
Her voice does something to me. Like a bug is happily leaping in my gut when she looks down at me, all that teal hair and new nose ring and tattoo peeking out from the wide collar of her sweatshirt.
It’s the collar I’m noticing. And the tattoo.
Not the thin, white strap of her bra.
Shit.
“You can sit. Please. You want Jason’s last beer?”
“Nah.” Her nose crinkles and the soft light above the bar flints on her nose ring. I quickly look away as she slides in. “I’ve never acquired the taste for beer. No matter what kind it is, it always tastes like wet cardboard.”
“You know what cardboard tastes like?”
“Yeah. Like beer.” She grins.
I grin back.
This girl is funny. Well-traveled.
Divorced. Cute. And fun.
The exact kind of temptation I do not need in my life right now. Yet as I sit across from her, taking in every little nuance about her like the freckle on the back of her hand, that broken heart tattoo… I can’t for the life of me think of an excuse to leave.

5 STAR Review
I love Stacey Lynn and her love for hockey romance. I love getting lost in her words. I loved the idea behind this story. Sebastian has been served a bad hand. It seems like he’s had his run of bad luck. Sebastian and his first wife weren’t meant to be. They tried to give it a go. They tried for babies. But it just wasn’t meant to be. No Sebastian has let his guard down. He’s fallen for Gigi. Gigi is the daughter of the bar owner where Sebastian and his team go after games. Gigi is sweet and kind. She has the ear for listening that Sebastian needs. I loved how this love story evolved. Sebastian and Gigi started as friends and grew from there. It was amazing to watch their relationship.
This book was everything I could have asked for and so much more. I loved that was were able to see a few of our Ice Kings. I love it when we get to see what’s been going on. I loved this book. I hope we get more from this series.

5 STAR Review
Talk about a coming of age story. Talk about getting lost in a book that finally made me happy to be 40. Blakely Foxx is turning 40. She’s watching her ex-husband move on with someone who could be their daughter. She’s fighting for a job at the company she loves. She’s trying to be younger, but the truth is Blakely is who she is. She’s stronger than she thinks. She’s independent. She just has to find that backbone. What Blakely doesn’t count on is an encounter with a gorgeous man. A man who makes her see that she’s so much more than she thinks she is. Slade is a physician who’s dealing with the fact he could lose everything he’s worked hard for. When Slade meets Blakely, she doesn’t see how old she is. He sees a beautiful woman who needs to relearn who she is.
As this story evolves, I love the confidence Slade helps Blakely find. I love that Slade pushes her limits. I love watching this relationship evolve from friendship to so much more. I love it when Blakely is able to let her guard down and allow Slade in.
This book is everything I love about K. Bromberg. I love Slade the strong alpha hero. I love Blakely who just needs help finding her way. I love the Kristy has the power to make me, a woman for 40 feel strong through her writing. This book was everything I wanted and so much more. I can’t wait to see what’s to come from this amazing author.

Excerpt
I’ve always had an inkling that Nate has wanted more from me, and it’s become more and more apparent lately, but me and Nate? That can never happen.
Nate’s Godiva chocolate and I’m just regular old Hershey. Nate’s Armani and I’m Walmart brand on a good day. He’s pure class and I’m just white trash. I’ll never let myself dull his shine. And now that we’re adults, Nate’s on one side of the law and I’m on the other. Too many things stand between me and the man of my dreams.
I try to make an effort to take shallow breaths so I don’t draw in too much of his manly scent, but it’s no damn use. His smell assaults my senses, making me feel loopy and lightheaded. My insides warm, and the whole thing pisses me off. What did he do today? Roll around in oranges and manliness before he picked me up? He smells ridiculous.
“Crack a damn window, Nate. It’s stifling in here,” I snap out.
Nate shoots a panty-melting smile my way like he knows what his smell does to me before saying, “Till, show some respect to the uniform. It’s Officer Trent.” His lips twitch in a barely there smile.
His bicep flexes as he grips the steering wheel to make a left turn, and I blush, thinking of all the ways I want to respect the hell out of that uniform. You know? With me under him. Me over him. Me on my knees in front of him. I smile. If he only knew how much I respected that uniform.
God, get your shit together, Tillie. Stop thinking about the hot cop you’re in love with and figure out how to get the hell out of this car.
I cannot let Nate take me down to the station. It’s unfortunate, this whole bounced-check situation. It really is, but it truly was unavoidable. I think of my good-for-nothing mother and roll my eyes. I’ve got to figure out another way to keep paying her debts off, because cleaning apartments at the retirement home isn’t cutting it. I’m not making enough money to feed myself and support my mother’s bad habits. But I refuse to let her contact Millie and upset her. I’ll pay my mother’s gambling debts forever if it means Millie can live free and clear of our mom.
I look to my right out the car window and notice Hannah, Millie’s best friend, driving her old, blue Ford Escort next to us. We’re coming up on a light, so I scoot closer to Nate across the bench seat of his cruiser until I’m pressed against his side, putting my plan into action. But my stupid pulse still kicks up a notch at our proximity, my body betraying me in the worst possible way.
His head turns to mine and our lips are a mere breath apart.
“What are you doing, Till?” he asks, his eyes genuine, and I almost feel bad for what I’m about to do.
Running my hand up from his knee to his thigh, I lean closer to him until our noses brush. “What do you want me to do, Officer Trent?” I breathe across his lips as my hand ghosts across the zipper of his blue trousers.
We stop at the light, and Nate closes his eyes and leans his head back against the headrest on a groan. I ignore the wetness that floods my panties and my desire to really grip his cock and give it a good stroke.
“Another time,” I whisper before quickly sliding back across the bench seat and throwing my door open. I don’t even slam it behind me as I run across the lane, my arms flailing, sweating like a whore in church.

Hazel
I needed the job at Eres Ranch in order to save up money for my sister or brother. I needed money to buy prenatal vitamins for Mama. Money to make sure her fridge was full. Money to make sure that somehow the baby could come into the world with a little bit more than I had.
Then, with the rest of the money, I’d buy a one-way ticket and leave Eres and never look back. Somehow, I’d convince Mama to come with me, too, with the new baby. The last thing she needed to do was raise a child with Charlie around.
Mama was right—we did have a roof over our heads because of Charlie. But just because someone gave you four walls to stay in didn’t mean they weren’t a prison. I couldn’t wait for the day that I collected enough money to get myself my own four walls. Those four walls would be filled with love, not threats. With happiness, not fear.
And the name Charlie Riley would be a distant memory.
Big Paw rubbed the back of his neck. “We were looking for ranch hands, not some girl who’s probably too afraid to get her hands dirty.”
“I’m not afraid of that at all. I’ll get down and dirty with the rest.”
“You have to be able to lift over sixty pounds.”
“I’ll lift seventy.”
He cocked an eyebrow and leaned forward. “You have to be here before the sun rises, and if you don’t finish the task, you stay after dusk, and there ain’t no overtime. You get paid by the daily tasks being completed, not by the hours you spend here. If you get done early, you can leave early. If you get done late, you’re stuck here late. Also, I don’t
believe in three strikes. I believe in one. Mess up, and you’re gone. You understand, girl?”
If anyone else called me “girl,” I’d slam my fist straight into their nose to show them just how much of a girl I was, but hearing it come from Big Paw wasn’t an insult. He called it as he saw it in a straightforward way. He’d call any man younger than him “boy,” too, because he could. I was sure people who identified differently would be offended by the title Big Paw would give them, but he was too old to bother correcting himself.
Old dog, new tricks and all.
“I understand.” I nodded. “I’ll be the hardest worker out there, I promise.”
He grumbled some more and rubbed his beard. “Fine, but don’t come complaining to me when you ruin your favorite pair of shoes in the pigpens. You report to the stables tomorrow at noon sharp for training with my grandson, Ian. He’ll be in charge of getting you up and running.”
I sat up a bit straighter as my stomach tightened. “Wait, Ian is training me?” I frowned. “Are you sure Marcus or James or someone can’t take me on?”
“No. Those boys are already training a few other ranch hands.” He raised his brow once more. “You aren’t already making yourself difficult, are you?”
I shook my head. “No, sir—er—Big Paw. Sorry. That is fine. Noon tomorrow. I’ll be there.”
The idea of being trained by Ian Parker made me want to gag. He was known as the playboy rock star of Eres. Ian had graduated three years before me, and I’d been the lucky girl with my locker right beside his during my freshman year. Which meant I’d had a front-and-center viewing of him swapping spit with whatever small-town groupie was wrapped around his pinkie at the time.

“Gruff but funny mechanic burned by love? Check. Guy who takes in orphaned kittens? Check. Hot as can be when he reluctantly falls head-over-heels? Check. My new book boyfriend? All the checks. Drive Me Wild is your summer must-read!” — Julia Kent, New York Times bestselling author
Drive Me Wild, an all-new flirty and heartwarming, opposites-attract romance by USA Today bestselling author Melanie Harlow is available now!
When Blair Beaufort literally crashes into Bellamy Creek wearing a ball gown and a tiara, I should have towed her car, said goodnight, and sent her packing.
I’m a mechanic, not a hotel manager. I’ve got enough on my plate trying to keep my shop from going under, my overbearing mother off my back, and my baseball team in contention for the league championship. I don’t have time for a former debutante with zero street smarts and a cash flow problem, even if she is crazy beautiful.
Problem is, she’s stranded in my small town, and I’m hiding a protective streak underneath my grumpy exterior that runs deep. So I offer her a place to stay and keep my hands to myself.
For exactly one night.
If only she weren’t so gorgeous. So funny. So eager to please. She’s a disaster behind the wheel, but she drives me wild without even trying–at work, at home, in the back of my truck . . . I can’t get enough of the way she makes me feel.
But I know better than to think it can last. She wants a fairy tale, and I’m no prince.
So when it comes time for her to leave, there’s nothing I can do but let her go.
No matter how much it hurts to say goodbye.

Excerpt
Switching off the lights, I followed her out onto the sidewalk, locking the door behind us. “I need a quick shower and change of clothes. Want to come up with me?”
“Sure.”
I was following her up the stairs to my apartment, looking at her ass and wondering if she had sexual rules and how long it would take me to break them, when I realized she was still talking.
Shit, had she just asked me a question?
At the top of the stairs, she turned around and faced me. “So? Are you going to?”
I stood close. Ridiculously close. So close I could smell her—vanilla and lemon—and she could probably smell me—sweat and motor oil.
“Am I going to what?”I asked, looking at her lips.
She licked them. “Listen to me.”
“Oh. Yeah. I am.” But at that moment, I was pretty sure I was going to do something else to her too.
Suddenly she stepped back. “Good,”she said, her cheeks flushed pink. “On second thought, I think I’ll wait outside. I’m a little warm, and there’s a nice breeze.”
“Okay. I’ll be out in a few minutes.”
Nodding, she turned and descended the stairs so slowly, I wondered if she was dizzy. I watched her hand sliding along the wooden rail, thinking dirty thoughts.
On the landing, she pushed the door open and disappeared from view, but I still couldn’t breathe right.
What would she have done if I’d put my mouth on hers like I’d wanted to just now? Would she have kissed me back? Would she have welcomed my hands on her skin? Or would she have kneed me in the balls and told me to keep my filthy fingers to myself?
She wasn’t like any other girl I’d ever met, which was both the problem and the allure. I didn’t know how to read her.
But damn, I wanted her something fierce.
I took an ice cold shower, hoping it would help.
It didn’t.

5 STAR Review
I love Melanie Harlow. She’s one of my favorite authors out there. This book is was different than her previous books. For some reason, this book felt lighter. This book didn’t have the drama and angst that is often filler in most stories. This book was different in that way, I loved it.
I loved Griffin. He’s happy with his life how it is. He’s good at his job and he’s fine not having a constant companion. Then Blair comes to town needing Griffin’s services. I loved the chemistry and the sizzle between these two. They had a great thing from the very start.
I loved everything about this book. I can’t wait to see what Melanie brings us next. This was a great opposite attract book and I loved everything about this story.
