What else was a book-loving teenage girl supposed to do while the nation was on lockdown, with no eight-hour school days, homework, clubs, or junior prom? To face the complete and utter uncertainty that is the year 2020, 16-year-old Ally B embarked on a journey in a world she could control. I’m not big on YA romance, but mostly because YA books often aren’t YA related. But Miss Ally B knocked it out of the park with this book. This book is relatable, it handles difficult subject matters and does so in such a way that I wanted to keep reading this story. I loved that this book had family involvement.
Ally B. is an enormously talented young lady. I loved this story from start to finish. I’m so excited to see this young lady grow as an author. I loved getting lost in her words. I can’t wait to see what’s to come.
