Dang, it. I don’t’ know why I should have expected it. Jay McLean wrote a story that made me fall in love with two fictional characters. What I wasn’t expecting was that my heart would be broken by reading a book.

Jay has always been the silent type. I love this about him. He’s more about observation than trying to fight with his siblings to get a word in edgewise. Jay and Mia had so many secrets. Jay was a little more open with his, but the wounds of these secrets cut deep. Mia isn’t as open. She keeps things bottled up and tries her best to help Jay find his way.

This book had all the feels. I loved getting lost in everything that was this book. I hope you will check it out.
