“What?” “The first random text you sent me. Christ. That might’ve been the corniest joke I’d ever heard, but I laughed my ass off for like five minutes. I’d had a shit day, I was still at work, feeling alone and pissy, and then your text pinged. For a brief shining moment, I knew someone in the world was thinking about me.” “For real?” she whispered. “Absolutely for real.” I let my lips brush the top of her ear. “I kept it casual and friendly. I just want to start out by saying thank you to Lorelei James for writing a story that made me fall in love with role reversal. In this story, Gabi is everything I want to be and so much more. Gabi has worked all her life to be the best, but sometimes we have to give up on what we feel comfortable with and look at other opportunities. Gabi is the tomboy of this relationship for sure. She’s all about hockey and her love for the sport she loves playing. Nolan is the reformed ladies man who is working hard to keep his company on track.

I loved these two so much. The initial interactions between Nolan and Gabi heated up to sexual chemistry that was undeniable. This relationship evolved and before long, the lust came out. I loved that their initial mutual dislike for the other fueled the fire and hit the spark just at the right time.

This book was a breath of fresh air. I love that it was different. I loved how Lorelei James kept me sucked in and wanting more. Please check out this great story.
