5 STAR Review
Good lord. This book was almost more than I could handle. I wanted to know more about Julian. I must say after the first book in this series, I wasn’t sure how I felt about him. The picture that was painted for us was of a man who was selfish. But this book, this book gave us the true Julian. It shows that underneath we can redeem ourselves, but we have to know who we are first.
Keaton helped Julian accomplish this. She helped him find the man hidden. Keaton had her own pain. These two learn how to cope with hurt and pain. I loved watching them grow individually as well as together. I loved that they had each other to rely on and move forward with.
I love RVD. I loved this story. She’s an amazing author and such a talent. Her stories draw me. I can’t wait to see what’s to come.
