Dear Letter Girl, I need to see you. When can we meet?
Her response never came. My secret pen pal with a dirty mind has ghosted me. I’ve roped Jules, my sweet as pie next door neighbor, to help me track her down.
There’s only one problem—I’m falling for her. The tortoise shell glasses, out of this world curves and delicious treats are making the search for The Letter Girl even harder.
My notes were supposed to be a one time thing. A little too much wine and naughty thoughts on a winter’s night. I never thought Berk would write back. I wanted to tell him it was me, but the fear of rejection kept my lips sealed.
Now he’s enlisted my help to track down The Letter Girl and our search has him hot on my, ahem, her trail.
She’s the girl next door.
He’s my secret pen pal.
Truth is on a collision course with their hearts and it’s only a matter of time before one of them gets wrecked…
Maya Hughes can often be found sneaking in another chapter while hiding in the bathroom from her kids! 🙂 I’m a romance writer who loves taking inspiration from everyday life, namely my husband and biggest fan. Inspiration also strikes when I hear a song, meet someone new or daydream while at soccer practice.
I’m the mom of three little ones, the wife to an amazing husband and also work full time. Some of my favorite things are cinnamon rolls, white wine, laughing until I can’t breathe and traveling with my family.
I want to start with I love Maya Hughes. I love her writing style and her books. I love getting lost in her stories. She is a true talent.
I enjoyed reading this book. College romance isn’t necessarily my nitch. I enjoy romance and a good love story. I don’t know why, but college romance bothers me at times. The constant back and forth. This book had it in parts, but for the most part I enjoyed getting lost in who Berk and Jules were. I like that Jules was just the girl next door, literally. But I liked how sweet and kind she was. She has her past one that makes her life difficult. But she’s just a good person. Berk has gotten letters from someone and he wants to know who. He needs help and who better than your friendly neighbor across the street?
I loved the interaction between these two. I enjoyed watching their friendship grow and then the transition to more. I loved watching this story build and grow. I loved watching the walls come down and Jules allow herself to see more in the world.
Even though this isn’t my nitch book-wise, I did enjoy getting lost in this story. Please check it out.
Blogger of romance books. Reader of all. I love reading and want to share that love with you all. Romance is my nitch, but I will read just about anything. By day, I wear a different cape, I'm a Nurse. I love my job and helping others.
